Netscape Profiles: User Manager

  1. Go to Start, Programs, Netscape Communicator, Utilities, and select User Profile Manager

  2. Click New

  3. Click Next

  4. Fill in the Full Name and Email Address as username@PowerNet Internet.net. Click Next

  5. Fill in the Profile Name - first name, username, or another name by which the profile can easily be identified. Click Next

  6. Fill in the Outgoing (SMTP) Mailserver as mail.PowerNet Internet.net Click Next

  7. Type the Mail server username, then the Incoming Mail Server as mail.PowerNet Internet.net or appropriate mailserver. Select POP3. Click Next.

  8. Type in news.PowerNet Internet.net in the News Server (NNTP) field. Leave the Port set to 119. Click Next.

  9. A new profile has now been completed. Start Netscape using the new profile by clicking Start Communicator. Note the Manage Profiles button that allows you to edit profiles.
