![]() The Network Control Panel can be opened by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel or My Computer > Control Panel and selecting Network. It can also be opened by right-clicking the Network Neighborhood icon on the desktop and selecting Properties (Network Neighborhood is only available if Client for MS Networks is installed). All tabs and components are clickable. Click the network component in the window to bring up Properties for that component. The Primary Network Logon: should be set to Client for Microsoft Networks, although Windows Login is also acceptable unless the "Save Password" on the dial-up connection window is grayed out. If Client for Microsoft Networks is not listed a component, it will have to be added (Click Add...) |
