Click the network component in window for viewing how to add: Client for MS Networks [Client] TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter [Protocol] File and Print Sharing [Service] ** DO NOT ADD THIS SERVICE for Security Reasons

You cannot add a Dial-Up Adapter in Windows ME; only Protocol, Service and Client are available when clicking the Add... button. To reinstall the adapter you must remove/add Dial-Up Networking in Add/Remove Programs.
